This weeks Houston Open offers one final opportunity for PGA Tour players to qualify for the Masters. Heres a look at some of the players in need of a win to earn the last available invite to Augusta... Patton Kizzire (world No 57)Kizzire has made plenty of progress since graduating from the Web.com Tour last season, kicking off this campaign with four top-10 finishes to move up to a career-high world ranking. A tied-second display at Octobers Shriners Hospitals for Children Open was the best of the early-season results, with Kizzire also upstaging Bubba Watson and this weeks defending champion JB Holmes to progress to the last 16 of the WGC Match Play. Kizzire won two titles on the Web.com Tour last season Even if the American doesnt qualify this time around, a future major appearance would seem to be only a matter of time.Matt Jones (world No 64)The 35-year-olds only Masters appearance came after he defeated Matt Kuchar in a play-off in Houston two years ago to claim a maiden PGA Tour title, with Jones now in need of a repeat result this time around.Jones narrowly missed out on ending last year inside the worlds top 50 despite an impressive showing at the PGA Championship, where he held the 36-hole lead, as well as victory on home soil ahead of Jordan Spieth and Adam Scott at the Australian Open. Jones ended 2015 with a one-shot win on home soil The Australian has been out of touch in recent weeks, following three consecutive missed cuts on the PGA Tour with a first-round exit in Austin last week.Kevin Chappell (world No 69)Four years on from his only Augusta performance, Chappell would need to claim a maiden PGA Tour title to break in to next weeks field for the opening major of the year. Chappell has already suffered two near-misses this season with runner-up finishes at the RSM Classic and in his last start at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, with that second-place finish at Bay Hill parachuting him back in to the worlds top 100. Could a first win be not too far away? Gary Woodland (world No 71)Woodland hasnt been able to follow on from the record which saw him reach the final of last years WGC Match Play, where he was beaten by Rory McIlroy, registering just one further top-10 finish since that busy week in San Fransisco. Woodland finished tied-18th at Torrey Pines The American had been up to world No 37 after a solid run in the FedExCup play-offs at the back end of last season, but had fallen out of the worlds top 50 by the turn of the year.Although his early exit from Bay Hill earlier this month was his first missed cut of 2016, the closest Woodland has come to being in contention in his seven starts this year was when he was unable to convert a 36-hole joint-lead at the Farmers Insurance Open. Ryan Palmer (world No 73)The American made a flying start to last years Masters when he reached the turn four under on the opening day, but will need to produce something special this week to get another chance at Augusta. Ryan Palmers last win came at the 2010 Sony Open Palmer previously finished inside the top-10 in the opening major of the year back in 2011, although the 39-year-old hasnt been able to find a similarly high finish on the PGA Tour at any point this season. Now on a six-year winless run worldwide, Palmer heads to Houston hoping to find an improved performance than he managed in a tied-60th finish at Bay Hill a fortnight ago. Best of the rest… Padraig Harrington qualified for last years Masters after Honda Classic victory Former back-to-back Open champion Padraig Harrington leads the list of ex-major winners looking to qualify, with former US Open title holders Lucas Glover and Stewart Cink also in action this week. Two years after ending joint runner-up at Augusta, Jonas Blixt needs a victory in Houston to make a third Masters appearance in as many years, while John Senden has to win if hes to make a fifth visit in a row.Watch the Shell Houston Open throughout the week live on Sky Sports 4 - your home of golf Also See: Houston Open betting preview 2015 recap: Holmes takes title WGC Match Play talking points Golf live on Sky Sports 4 Air Max 720 Wholesale Australia . Crawford was the Clippers third-leading scorer and the NBAs top-scoring reserve with 18.BALTIMORE - A year ago, Justin Forsett ran for 31 yards on six carries as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now a 1,000-yard rusher with the Ravens, Forsett knows it would be foolish for Baltimore to take its downtrodden opponent lightly Sunday. We dont look past anyone, Forsett said. I know this (Jacksonville) team very well. Most of my work was done last year on the scout team against this defence. They have a couple of new pieces, but for the most part I know how tough they are.The Ravens (8-5) have overcome a variety of distractions and injuries to put themselves in position to make the playoffs, and the feeling on the team is that theyve come too far to look past a matchup against Jacksonville (2-11) at home. The thing is, if we had a playoff spot locked up and had three games left, then maybe you could fall into that trap, linebacker Elvis Dumervil said. But man, this team is scary because when youre 2-11, youve still got a lot of pride. Theyve got some explosive players and they have a very good defence.Linebacker Daryl Smith, another ex-Jaguar, said, It doesnt matter whos up next. Every game is important in December. All of them are must-win. So the Jaguars are next.Ravens coach John Harbaugh bristled at the notion that facing Jacksonville might be perceived as an easy assignment.I would just reject the whole principle. Its not something that our guys would even consider, he said. Maybe you can afford to look at it that way if youre not involved in it, but if youre involved in something in your job, or your life, or whatever, you dont take anything for granted, right?Jacksonville has nothing to lose except one more game, but pulling off an upset would certainly tack a positive note to an otherwise dismal season. My hope is that we go out there and compete our tails off; that we go up there with a mentality and were aggressive, we have no fear, we go up there in attack mindset, coach Gus Bradley said. Some things to know about the Ravens-Jaguars matchup:HEALTHY FORSETT: One of the reasons Forsett never got a chance in Jacksonville last season was he was rarely healthy enough to show his talent.I had the turf toe during preseason and training camp and then I broke my ffoot Week 9, he recalled.ddddddddddddThe result: Though it was tough, probably the darkest moment in my career to this date, I loved what I went through because it made me a better man.Forsett got his chance in Baltimore after Ray Rice was suspended and subsequently cut. Forsett has already reached career highs in carries, and his 1,080 yards are by far the most hes ever accumulated.DENARD DONE: The Jaguars will be without running back Denard Robinson for the rest of the season because of a sprained right foot. Without him, Jacksonville will platoon Toby Gerhart and rookie Storm Johnson. Gerhart opened the season as the starter, but sprained his foot/ankle in September and lost his job to Robinson. Johnson, a seventh-round draft pick from UCF, has been inactive the past six games.WRONG RECORD: Jacksonvilles losing ways have reached a record low. The Jaguars are 8-37 over the past three seasons, with 27 of those losses coming by double digits. The latest lopsided loss, a 27-13 setback at Houston, set a modern-day NFL record (since the 1970 merger), breaking the previous three-year mark of 26 double-digit losses by the Houston Oilers in 1971-73 and 72-74.SIR SACK A LOT: Dumervil had 3 1/2 sacks last week in a 28-13 win over Miami and is a sack away from matching his career high of 17, set in 2009 with Denver.Pernell McPhee, Terrell Suggs, everybodys doing their job, which does not allow me to get double-teamed so much, Dumervil said.Jaguars rookie quarterback Blake Bortles attributed Dumervils success to perseverance.I think hes relentless. He just gets after it, Bortles said. Hes got a motor that doesnt quit.YOUTH IS SERVED: The Jaguars rookies have combined for 65 starts through 13 games, most in the NFL.At the top of the class is Bortles, whos 10 touchdown passes have gone to five different players — including first-year players Allen Hurns, Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson. After Robinson went on injured reserve with a broken right foot, Lee proved to be a solid substitute.Hes definitely stepped up and taken advantage of it, Bortles said.___AP Sports Writer Mark Long contributed to this story.___AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and http://twitter.com/AP_NFL ' ' '
